Values

We provide “value for money” and have vested interest to earn your trust. We want our candidates to remain with us and serve our clients with efficient services in a trustworthy manner. We want you to keep us perpetually for all your house staffing needs and refer us to friends and family.

Training

All our staff go through ethical training and job refresher courses before they are deployed to the client. We do not deploy a staff who has not gone through this training. We also offer our clients the opportunity to conduct an initial orientation with the candidate prior to commencement of the job. The venue for the orientation is mutually decided with the client. To make the orientation process effective, we prefer to have this conducted with the client in the premise where our staff will be performing the work. This gives an efficient practical experience for a good start!

Confidentiality

We take the necessary precautions to protect our clients and candidates’ privacy. We can assist our clients with confidentiality agreements for their household staff placed by us. We could also mutually agree to sign a confidentiality agreement with the client prior to working in their household.

I had a passion to set up a home care recruitment agency many years ago when I lived in Leicester in the UK. I worked in an agency which specialized in that kind of service and I enjoyed working with them, providing care to children and the elderly. For me, home should be peaceful for both the children, parents and all who live in it. It should also offer comfort and relaxation without excessive stress and work for the family. I had considered this for many years but realized that an agency like Household Staffing, which specializes in professional domestic staffing was hard to come by in Ghana after my relocation from the UK. Although I had this business incubation for years, I worked in international development agencies where I have acquired rich work experience in project management and finance. My work experience in these agencies has also offered me the opportunity to meet people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. With this experience and understanding, I have a bigger picture of what people from different backgrounds require and willing to accept in their homes, facilities and offices. Coupled with my personal experience in search of domestic staff for my own home which often seemed quite difficult for many reasons: lack of trust, lack of an overseeing agency, possibility of confidentiality breaches and often times a lack of commitment from the staff, I saw the need to have an agency like Household Staffing. With just a short conversation I can deduce what my client’s need, visualize a best candidate to best fit and offer bespoke service when the need arises. The aspect of uniform making also emanates from my love for good apparel, well-tailored and professional enough to reinforce your brand values. My passion to get these moving smoothly is enough assurance that I and my team are willing to provide you with a good service that will make you happy. I am Rejoice Dake trained from the University of Benin, University of Leicester and the University of Salford. I am happy to “put it altogether” to exceed your expectations and keep you smiling.
